Euractiv created this blog to cover its various events, starting with the Fondation Euractiv Conference at the European Parliament, November 8 2007.

The idea is to explore how web2.0 technologies can help make events more interesting and effective. Some ideas include:

• posting text, photos and videos direct from the conference floor and after the event
• turning participants into journalists: getting them to ‘guest post’ from the event, and asking anyone with a digital camera to tag their photos on flikr so that they’ll appear here*
• feeding in external blogs on the event’s topic into this blog, whether the blogger attended or not*
• using twitter
